About Me

Kyle Murphy

Hey! I am a photographer born in Shepparton, Australia, currently servicing San Jose and the greater Bay Area. Some background about me: In 2018 I took a leap to pursue university and compete in Track & Field at an NCAA D1 college in the USA. I was a long jumper & triple jumper, and my joints remind me of that often.

I studied History & Science, with a secondary in Energy & Environment. I got to maintain a curious mind while learning to see connections between fields and ideas I never would have found otherwise. The common thread throughout all of this time, however, was in keeping a camera close at hand and learning to see new and old things through different perspectives.

I began photography around 2014, shooting with a nikon D3100 in a high school class. I quickly found myself gravitating toward landscape photography, honing my eye for composition and understanding how to see and shape light.

Nowadays I have a versatile skillset in photography; ranging from portraits, weddings and events, to commercial images & aerial drone photography. After 10 years of landscape photography, I have finally embarked on the journey to master print-making - creating the final, fully realized versions of my work as archival, fine art prints.
